About the Mold Assessor

Maxim is a New York State Licensed Mold Assessor and the founder of Mold Whiz Solutions, providing independent mold inspections throughout New York City, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.

Maxim specializes in mold inspections, moisture testing, and water intrusion assessments for apartments, homes, and commercial properties in New York City. His work focuses on identifying hidden moisture sources, roof and plumbing leaks, and conditions that commonly lead to mold growth in NYC’s older and high-density buildings.

As an independent NYC mold inspector, Maxim does not perform mold remediation, ensuring that every inspection and report is independent and evidence-based, and focused solely on accurate findings. Clients receive clear explanations, documented results, and practical guidance on the proper next steps.

With hands-on experience inspecting properties across all five boroughs, Maxim understands the building-specific challenges unique to New York City — including pre-war construction, shared walls, limited ventilation, and recurring water intrusion issues.
