After mold remediation is complete, a separate inspection can help document the condition of the work area and evaluate whether it meets the agreed project criteria. Mold Whiz Solutions provides independent post-remediation verification (PRV) in New York City. We do not perform mold removal or repairs. The scope is established for each project and may include: • A visual review of the remediated area • Moisture readings on accessible materials • Review of whether the work area appears clean and ready for the next project step • Air or surface sampling when included in the agreed scope or required by project criteria • Laboratory analysis and a written report when samples are collected
The remediation contractor should complete the work and make the area accessible for assessment. Ask clients to share what work was performed, which rooms or materials were involved, and whether a written remediation plan or project-specific clearance criteria are available. Laboratory turnaround depends on the testing selected. Mold Whiz will explain the scope, sampling options, and expected timing before the inspection.
Because Mold Whiz does not perform remediation, our role is to assess and document the agreed work independently. The report records observations and any sample results; it does not replace required owner filings or agency procedures.
NYS licensed mold assessment, inspection, air and surface sampling, moisture evaluation, and remediation planning throughout New York City.
